Out door seating is available as well. As quoted by the New York Times, Blues Alley is 'The nation's finest jazz and supper club.' Open seven days a week, Blues Alley specializes in authentic Creole cuisine, steak and seafood dishes (Dinner served from 6:00 pm).

  • Description: The Bohemian Caverns is among the more unusual jazz clubs in DC. It's definitely worth an experience since the acoustics are fantastic as you're in a confined cave. After expanding, the Bohemian Caverns has over 14 thousand feet of public area. Tuesday night is 1/2 price Belgian beer night, and they feature various shows periodically.   • Description: HR-57 is among the more intimate jazz clubs in DC. The room is cozy with a decent-sized stage and exposed brick walls. The patio also provides a great place to sip a beer on summer nights. This is also one of DC's Bring your own Beer venues, so BYOB! There is a $3 corking fee and a small cover. They also feature 'Story Time' which is the second Tuesdays of the month. Stories go from 8-10pm and are a mix of first timers, regulars, and slam poetry.

  • Description: Madam's Organ in Adams Morgan features live music 7 days week! It's definitely among the local's favorites, features soulfood and has an amazing rooftop patio. The place is also huge, there are four floors total. The first two are mainly people listening to music, the third is a bit more loungy and the 4th is the rooftop patio. There are great happy hour deals including 2 for 1 drink specials and 1/2 off various appetizers.

Happy hour includes 2 for 1 on rail drinks and select domestic beers every Tuesday - Thursday! On weekends be prepared for a $15 cover and a 2 drink minimum. Drinks however area reasonably priced.

  • Description: Utopia features nightly seafood and creole specials, excellent music and a laid back atmosphere. Utopia Bar and Grill is definitely a DC favorite. If you head there for Sunday brunch, enjoy the $2 mimosas, and make sure to take a look at the art on the walls.
