Featuring Reggae and Brazilian live music or a DJ spinning Jazz and Blues, 18th Street Lounge is your place if you're looking for class. There's typically a $10 cover (females often get in free), but drinks are reasonably priced.

Be Bar even has comfy couches to vedge out. Martinis are half off until 9 PM. Try the following flavors: Gummy Bear, Tropical Sorbet, and Key Lime. And watch out for bingo night, you'll get all your favorite drinks for just $2. Check with the club for times.

  • Description: Degrees Bar & Lounge brings a little bit of New York to DC. Be prepared to feel fabulous. With a great sheik decor, a hip atmosphere, and even big comfy chairs next to a fireplace to relax and sip your drinks, Degrees Bar & Lounge is among the most classy bars in DC. The service here is superb, as is the glassware. If you've never drank a martini in a crystal glass before, you're in for something new. If you're feeling adventurous, try a Zentini. Think Cosmo with Saki instead of Vodka. Since it is more upscale than your average bar, be prepared to spend a little more here.

  • Description: When stepping into Fly Lounge you'll feel as if you're stepping into an airplane. This airplane themed lounge has become one of DC's hottest dance clubs. Walk around and you'll see little airplane windows with blue sky and clouds in the background, the bartenders all wear sexy stewardess outfits and you can help yourself to little peanut packets at the bar. At Fly Lounge, you can request the following services: First class (getting a table), Business class ('working' to get a table for free) and Coach (having a great time dancing around the club). As Fly Lounge is one of the more classy joints in DC, drinks are on the pricey side. Girls usually get in for free but guys are subject to the $20 cover. Dress to impress.

  • Description: H20 Restaurant and Lounge is the to go spot for Friday happy hour (4:30-7pm) and Sunday Brunch, where they have unlimited mimosas with brunch. They feature Fridays lady night with an open bar from 9-11pm, ladies with skirts get free admission, and gentlemen with button up shirts get free admission.

  • Description: A Russian Themed lounge and many Russian inspired drinks, the Russia House has a beautiful classy bar upstairs, with a great view of the street below. The service is excellent, the drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but the overall experience is definitely worth a trip.
