  • Description: The Bohemian Caverns is among the more unusual jazz clubs in DC. It's definitely worth an experience since the acoustics are fantastic as you're in a confined cave. After expanding, the Bohemian Caverns has over 14 thousand feet of public area. Tuesday night is 1/2 price Belgian beer night, and they feature various shows periodically.   • Description: DC9 is dubbed as a music venue and dance club because it's split into two levels: The ground level is open seven nights a week with no cover charge. There is a jukebox with over 130,000 songs to choose from. A great local haunt in the hip U Street corridor where you can grab a cocktail before or after a 9:30 club show. The second floor is dedicated to showcasing live music and djs, see the music calendar to see when your favorite act will be playing. Happy hour specials are excellent here are are available 5pm-9pm every day. They include: $2.50 Bud & Bud Light bottles, $3.00 rail cocktails, $3.00 beer special of the week and 1/2 price appetizers.

The dance floor is huge, there are many bars throughout, and if you're just coming to see a show, there is a lot of rail space for viewing. Always featuring an act, from big headliners to local stars, Nightclub 9:30 has something for just about everybody.

Happy hour includes 2 for 1 on rail drinks and select domestic beers every Tuesday - Thursday! On weekends be prepared for a $15 cover and a 2 drink minimum. Drinks however area reasonably priced.

  • Description: Utopia features nightly seafood and creole specials, excellent music and a laid back atmosphere. Utopia Bar and Grill is definitely a DC favorite. If you head there for Sunday brunch, enjoy the $2 mimosas, and make sure to take a look at the art on the walls.
