Upon entering, mahogany stained wood frames the room as a tribute to the classical style of fine accommodations. The foyer is appointed with fresh floral decor, accentuated by ornate lighting arrangements. The new main dining area is everything one would expect of a four star hotel, with the atmosphere of luxury and attention to detail. The decorative wall images are a tribute to the legacy of Washington and U Street as a Cultural Center for Jazz. At the far end of the dining area is an appropriately located fireplace and lounge.
